What is your deepest desire for your life?

I spent a great deal of my adult life longing for my desires. About a decade ago I was introduced to the concept of baby steps towards my dreams and accountability! After a few months I was living one dream and then I'd start working on another. You have to realise I create my projects from no existing budget. I steal a little from the grocery budget or the clothes budget by getting what I need at the thrift store and suddenly I have the basics for getting my dream launched. For my concerts I usually split the door with the venue rather than pay rent! And some venues they pay me a fee! Those are minor details.

Living my life from a place of "longing" was simply a learned behavior from not being raised by entrepenuers. Living my life from a place of "actualization" is an amazing feeling. It has nothing to do with being rich monetarily. Although I believe that I am on a path of abundance.

Lastly, I learned that every person you meet, may have a piece of your puzzle. The secret to actualization is continually sharing your dream. People around you will have the keys to your dream. Just remain unattached and open.

Lastly, if a person isn't enthusiastic about you or your dream, don't spend time with them. Only spend time with those who are encouraging and good role models. I'd like to know what your dreams are?

A Day of Rest

The Visionary Artist Shiloh Sophia told us to take a day of rest every week. I started it this week and wow, I did not realize how wonderful a nap could be especially on a winter's day. I have the fire going and a cup of my favorite tea and even had time to write a holiday letter. Tomorrow evening is my last gig of the season and you can get details on the Calendar dates.

I'm really excited about next year. I have monthly concert venues of my chanting and healing songs in Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, San Francisco and I've approached a venue in Marin...cross your fingers. Artists are submitting their paintings of the feminine from all over the country to be on my power point played during the concert.

Painting has brought my creative/career life together. It was the thread I needed to make it all flow for me. The drum queen wants to play drums for the concerts up here! I am so excited about everything! Thank you Christ Sophia.

Singing, Songwriting and Art as a Spiritual Path

On a cold winter night in the 1500's, Hildegard and her nuns would be chanting by candlelight in the monastary. In the 1800's you might find the pioneers sitting around the fire playing banjo, guitar or fiddle while some made quilts or knitted. Do you ever crave the gentle pursuits of yesterday? I will be offering concerts and classes in the new year cultivating these pursuits. Watch my web site for details.
